My Chinese Name and Meaning.
Besides speaking and reading the English language, I've learned three times of how to write and pronounce my Chinese name while taking my Professor's class. It's very fun and interesting to learn how to say and write your name in a different way. Your name is a great start to learn other words, phrases, and symbols. The tricky part of learning the Chinese version is remembering what my name actually means. When Professor Tang tells me the meaning, I often forget. Sometimes it's challenging when I have to copy and write my Chinese name the way that I see it in front of me. Two out of the three times I've did this, I dislike the third time writing it a while ago in class. The professor thought it was good, but I sucked. Anyone can research their first and last name in different languages at any time. My Chinese name is below. Keisha Ruth, Ruth Keisha.

Jackie Robinson West looses championship title.
Chicago's very own baseball league called Jackie Robinson West ended up loosing their championship title due to irresponsible adults. People call it cheating, but the news says that if the kids didn't live in a certain area, they couldn't be on the team. These kids are kids. They are 12 to 13 years old. How do they know how adults handle important paperwork. The coach and whoever ois responsible for the team should have let the kids and parents know that ahead of time. Now that the title is taken from the team, the players and everyone is speaking out on this.

Masquerade Ball 2015
Valentine's Day weekend was fun for most people, but not all. Some people went out and some stayed in the house due to the cold temperatures on Saturday. While on campus, there was a Masquerade Ball given in the Lamoine Room in the university union on Friday the 13th. It was held from 9 pm until 11 pm. NAACP, an organization on campus threw the ball. Many students came out to have a nice time. Food, candy, masks, and a scenery like a romantic evening. A DJ came to play music for the crowd and everyone had a great time. Pictures were flashing everywhere and the evening ended with one luck winner winning a raffle; a teddy bear.

Super Bowl Reaction
Millions of people watched SuperBowl 49 on Sunday, Feb 1. and Groundhog day. The Seahawks vs Patriots played in the superbowl. Although it was a close game, the New England Patriots took the title as the Super Bowl XLIX 2015 Champions. Many fans were shocked at the outcome. Some people betted that the seahawks would win, but there were a lot of patriot fans as well. Over 4.3 million people watched the superbowl and there were many funny commercials and live performances from people like Katy Perry and Missy Elliott. These two performers were the talk all over the world the next day. Despite the bad weather in parts of the United States, people atill have a great time.
