Graduation is near!

It is almost of that time of year to celebrate people who are turning their tassles in April, May, or June. The weather is breaking and the excitement of wearing a cap and gown is feeling the air. Kindergarten into 1st grade, eighth grade into high school, high school into college and college into grad school or a dream job (real world) graduations are a very busy time. Flowers ballons, dresses and suits will be seen worn by graduates all around the globe. I congratulate myself, and others who are crossing the stage into their next step in life. Undergrad was a long road, but the end came fast.

Empire! Empire! Empire!!!

Who knows about the popular FOX show Empire? Well I do. The popular show with stars Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson star in this amazing take about a family who is very talented and  goes through family struggles good and bad. The show aired every Wednesday at 8pm Central Standard Time (where I'm located) on television. When the first episode aired, I watched it and I knew that this show was going to be good. Viewers all aroung the world watched this show and the Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts did not stop at all. Every eciting moment was posted via these social networks.

Sadly, the season ended and aired it's season finale on March 18th. It was a two hour episode. And by the way, if you've never seen this show or you didn't see the season finale, I feel sorry for you. The shoe had over 9 million viewers and parties were held everywhere just because this show has became popular so quick. The two-hour episode started at 7pm that Wednesaday and it went down; meaning it was super good that we all can't wait for season 2. Season two, which I heard, will be starting in June, but I don't know the official date. if you haven't seen this show, check out it's episodes.

Spring break is over for some but begginning for others.

Spring is here and it's time to have a break from school, work, etc. Western students have had their spring break and classes resumed on Monday, March 23rd. Ohter college students that I know who attedn different school had theirs before me and are currently enjoying theirs right now. Some students went back to their hometowns for spring break, but a lot of students I know went to Panama City Beach in Florida, which seems really fun. From Snapchat, twitter,facebook, and twitter, many people shared their videos and pics while on spring break. I, myself, enjoyed a small amount of my spring break. It really wasn't all that fun, but I did enjoy the funny moments of it.

Spring fever or Fever fever???

Although the temperatures are warming up and the snow is melting, don't forget that this is still somewhat pneumonia-like weather. Common colds, fever, and those who have allergies and asthma need to be aware. It's still ok to wear a hat, scarf, or jacket. It may be fift-five degrees now, but at night it'll be thirty-seven at night. it's very important to wash your hands at all times because due to the fact that the weather is changing again, germs and other bacteria still travels. Enjoy the weather, but stay well healthy, and alert.

I'm pretty sure that folks who live in the midwest right now are very pleased with the weather right now. Wherever you live, you should look at yor seven day forecast. I've seen sun and clouds in the sky viewing the forecast in my current city. I am enjoying the feeling of wearing gym shoes instead of boots. Everypne else around me feels the exact same way. I've seen friends with flip flops on because it is already spring fever in the air. It feels good and it is making everyone happy.

When the weather breaks, so does bullets.

Violence in cities like Chicago is very sad and heart breaking. When the weather gets hot, someone always ends up being shot or killed over nonsense.It's only been a fwe days since the weather reached temperatures above the 40's and 50's and people are already acting out of control. Sad to say that this is nothing new, but I sense a bloody summer coming. What is the mayor doing? If a new mayor is elected, will he do a better job at leading the city? What is the superintendent of CPD doing? I pray for all of the citizens of Chicago. This city needs peace.

Spring is near!

Spring time is near and it feels great outside. Everybody is tired of the snow, except for people who like to ski and vacation in states like Colorado. The winter time is going away and it feels good. It's like a stress reliever, no more shoveling heavy show, and no more snowstorms. Other states in the east probably still have to deal with snow or ice. i got very tired of sliding and falling on the ground. It is spring forward and I'm happy.

Is it blue and white or white and gold?

The discussion about this damn dress drove me crazy. No, I did not participate on guessing whether this dress was blue and white or glod and white. Who dress was it anyway?  A famous person? I was so lost I was asking everybody via facebook "What is everybody talking about?" This discussion on a dress has made everybody color blind completely. It's prpbably not worth a lot of money. I'm not wearing the dress so I'm not concerned at all.

Women's Month/Black Ice

It is now Women's Month. The love montt of February is gone and a new month has arrived. Today is March 3 and people all over the world are celebrating Women and what they do. Women who are mothers, teachers, giuders, and working in their community. Women are also being recognized for their great achievements as well and being rewarded for good deeds.

Besides that, the snow has arrived back days ago, but the sun is making it's way out melting everything and creating black ice. People are falling at leaast twice a day. I, myself have fallen a couple of times and it's not nice. Spraining or breaking an ankle or leg doesn't feel nice at all. Be aware of the roads, especially drivers and travelers. This week seems like it's melting, but salt trucks need to be on the move in these cities and towns.
